By 2021, there will be 70 million monitors, 24 million media players and a compound annual growth rate of 26%. That is to say, in the next four years, we will see rapid growth in the number of monitors around the world. The digital label industry is growing rapidly, and the demand for digital labels will be huge.

Today Intel is "all-pervasive", what other industries have it never visited? The answer is NO. In the past, more than 90% of ATMs, 90% of POS and 75% of digital tags in the world are based on Intel.
On April 12, 2017, InfoComm China, Asia Visual Internet of Things Industry Exhibition, was held in Beijing Convention Center, with the participation of journalists from Saidi.com. But in another venue, Intel and their partners "secretly" opened a new topic about smart retailing.

What is the relationship between smart retailing and InfoComm? The important medium or carrier is the "big screen". It's not just the growing size of mobile phone screens that are transforming the various media that transmit information outdoors and indoors. Electronic large LED screen are replacing billboards and loudspeakers. In China, many retail stores, shopping malls and restaurants are using various interactive screens, which can display commodity information, guide the route, try on, order meals, get preferences, interactive surveys... Facts have proved that we are indeed dominated by the big screen, which makes China develop faster than other countries.

BYD, the smart retailer of screen hegemony, can't help it.
Jose Avalos, Vice President of Intel's Internet of Things, Global Director of Visual Retail and Digital Signage Business, gives a surprising set of data: According to PQMedia's research, there will be 70 million monitors, 24 million media players and 26% annual compound growth rate by 2021. That is to say, in the next four years, we will see a rapid increase in the number of monitors in the world. The digital label industry is explosive growth, and the demand for digital labels will be enormous.

This time, Intel and many new partners will show a series of solutions based on Intel technology, including Intel Responsive Retail Platform (Intel RRP), OPS+, Intel SDM and so on. The appearance of BYD, an automobile brand dealer, in the exhibition hall surprised the journalists! BYD also sells big screens? Looks like it is. They say that BYD's big screen products are currently mainly in its 4S stores, where customers can view car information and watch live broadcasts. The future does not exclude selling to other industries.

This phenomenon of cross-border integration can only explain two situations: either the digital signage market is really hot, so that tall and large automobile companies can not avoid it; or the standardization of digital signage is too good, any manufacturer can open the lock of the big screen with the "key".
